The season of Lent invites us to worship and reflect on the Word of God.
Worship with us, Wednesday evenings through Lent, at 5pm. We will consider the question, "Why Church" the theme for the 2024 Lenten series. Everyone is invited for worship using the Holden Evening Prayer Service followed by fellowship and a light supper.
Our Lutheran witness to the gospel remains the basis for building a community of faith. Central to that witness are key theological core values, such as the following:
- God’s unconditional love and grace
- A theology of the cross that proclaims that Christ is present and at work in the world’s pain and suffering
- A commitment to life as a paradox, being God’s both/and people in an either/or world
We search for the Why? using foundations, the story, change, abundance and scarcity, and the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
