The mission statement of First Evangelical Lutheran Church (the congregation) states, "Rooted first in worship, learning, and hospitality, we are sent forth in the power of the Holy Spirit to serve others both in our households and in the wider community." Rooted in hospitality and working to serve the congregation's members and the community, the congregation sees its facilities as a gift of God to be shared and utilized to the glory of God. Facility use is a Stewardship ministry of First Lutheran.
