Weekend Reminder - December 20, 2024

 

Saturday, December 21

  • 5:30pm Worship
  • No 3rd Saturday Game Night for December.  Be sure to join in the fun when we meet again on January 18, 2025, at 6:30 pm in the Big Room. Until then, be well and full of good cheer! 

Sunday, December 22

  • 9:30am – Worship (Livestream) - Join us for a special worship service! At the annual Santa Lucia Festival the youth of First Lutheran will tell the story of Santa Lucia followed by the Sunday School Children’s Program coming to you “Live from Bethlehem!” The FLW will be hosting a reception in the Big Room with Swedish treats after the service.
  • 10:45am Sunday School Hour -  
    • Santa Lucia Reception in the Big Room, Join us for Swedish treats and refreshments after the Santa Lucia Festival and Sunday School Children’s Christmas Program.
    • Adult Sunday School in the Fireside Room!  Our first class for the year is “Living the Questions” led by Andy Meyer . If you are joining by Zoom, please use this link:

Tuesday, December 24, Christmas Eve

  • 1:00pm - Staff Meeting in the Fireside Room
  • Christmas Eve Services - 4:00, 5:30 (Livestream) and 11:00pm - Join us for a festive evening of worship, special music and familiar carols. The last two services will include candlelight singing!

Wednesday, December 25, Merry Christmas!

  • 6:30am Christmas Day Julotta Service & Breakfast - Please come to the Fireside room after the 6:30am Julotta service to enjoy a breakfast buffet.  It will include favorites like Swedish pancakes, sill, deviled eggs, breakfast casseroles, sausages, coffee cakes and muffins.  You will love coming to church in the dark and leaving with a full stomach in the light!

  • 10:45am Sunday School Hour -  
    • K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs)
    • Middle and High School FLY -  Any youth in grades 6-12 are invited to the FLY Room, each    Sunday for faith-filled discussions about what is going on in their lives!
