The Little Pantry

As many of you know, the Little Free Pantry has had a dedicated group of volunteers actively stocking the Little Free Pantry since October 2023.  Everyday since then, the pantry has been filled with a box of food specifically for the homeless.  The resources in Longmont, for the homeless, are not very good.  Therefore, the pantry is a vital service.  We provide snacks, drinks, proteins, socks, dental hygiene kits, and a hygiene kit.  All products do not require a can opener or stove/microwave.  Many thanks to Judy Burris, Holly Keenan and Stephanie & Dan Nieuwlandt for doing the buying, loading, unloading, organizing, filling the boxes for delivery to the pantry every week.  Many thanks also to Bill, Sally & Brook Campbell, Bev Schumacher, Holly Keenan, Edie Walker, Sandy & Mark Moore, Lorraine Stromquist, Dortha Ekx, Sharon Thorvaldson, and Pat  & Danny Funkhouser.  They deliver the boxes to the pantry 7 days a week!!

But, like everything else, food prices have increased over the past year and it takes more to keep up this level of service.  Thank you to those that donate to this cause monthly and please consider donating to the pantry either monetarily or by donating the selected foods.  A list is available in the pantry office and is posted on some of the bulletin boards.  THANK YOU SO MUCH for your consideration!!!

FLW NEWS

Valentine’s Day is Almost Here!

This year, FLW is hosting a special fundraiser to celebrate the holiday! Join us on Saturday and Sunday, January 25-26 and February 1-2, where you’ll find a table set up in the entryway before and after services. FLW members will be there to help you send a heartfelt Valentine greeting to someone special in your life.

For just $5, you can select a greeting, and FLW will place it on a delightful Valentine treat. Your treat will be ready for pick-up on February 8-9. Not only will you brighten someone’s day, but your support will help FLW raise funds for a meaningful cause. It’s truly a win-win!

Thank you so much for your support!
