10:30am - HOLY HOOTENANNY!! Join us THIS SUNDAY for celebrating the return of Sunday School with some good old hymns led by Sarah Morrow and Mike Witmore! Stay around to help us pack some beans and rice for the OUR Center as part of our witnessing to Christ on our God's Work, Our Hands day! You can register for Sunday School at our table. Sunday School begins September 15 for everyone!
11:30am - GODS WORK. OUR HANDS. - We will kick off with a quick prayer at 11:30 and pizza in the Big Room. This day is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America — one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. Service activities offer an opportunity for us to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: that all of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life — flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.

10:00am-11:00am - Seasoned Saints in the Fireside Room - Bruce Tveten from Thrivent Financial will be with us. All are welcome!

10:30am Adult Bible Study - Time to begin. What time? In the beginning. This year’s Thursday morning Bible Study class will center our attention on the Book of Genesis. Leaders will be Pastor Sally Ponfick and Pastor Garrett Struessel. Lessons will be related to Charles and Ann Hummel’s small workbook called genesis: God’s Creative Call. Want one? Maria Sutton can get you one for $10 or free if $10 is too much.
7:00pm-8:30pm – Chancel Choir Rehearsal in the Choir loft. After a summer of resting our voices, it’s time to tune them up for Chancel Choir again!!! I invite anyone who enjoys lifting up your voice in song to join us in the balcony on Thursday, September 5 at 7:00 p.m. for our first rehearsal. We will be singing our first service on Sunday, September 15 for Confirmation. There are plenty of seats available for any new members that would enjoy singing and having wonderful fellowship. 10:30am - Confirmation Reception Confirmation Celebration - We will celebrate with our students as they affirm their baptismal promises. Following worship, we will have a reception for this glorious occasion in the Big Room!
10:45am Sunday School Hour -
- K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs)
- Middle and High School FLY - Any youth in grades 6-12 are invited to the FLY Room, each Sunday for faith-filled discussions about what is going on in their lives!
- Adult Sunday School - in the Fireside Room. Our first class for the year will be “Living the Questions” lead by Andy Meyer.
