Chancel Choir

Chancel Choir is directed by Sally Campbell and open to all youth and adults. Meetings begin in September and continue through May. We rehearse on Thursdays 7-8pm in the balcony, followed by treats and social time. We have 25 listed on our roster, but sometimes we are fewer than 15. Only experience needed is the love of music. All music and folders are provided.

We sing two Sundays per month, plus the Thanksgiving Eve service, seven Ryssby services, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and Midsummer Ryssby service. We meet in the music room downstairs at 9am to rehearse for the Sunday services at First Lutheran Church. 

We enjoy the fellowship and the music; music sometimes speaks louder than words to the congregation. We try to reflect the Sunday scriptures in our songs.

Specialty Choirs

Specialy Choirs are often formed to perform for a special occasion, such as our all women’s choir or Brothersong, our all men’s choir.
